Richard Rinaolo

Richard Rinaolo has developed an incredibly diverse professional career through a myriad of executive positions in successful startups within various business sectors. Today, he is the Managing Partner for NSVP Venture Fund in Lake Forest, Illinois, where he manages business-to-consumer opportunities and investor relations. He also provides guidance to companies during their early growth and development phases. Also in 1995, Richard Rinaolo founded his own residential construction company, Phase II. Based in Lake Bluff, Illinois, Phase II received many residential design awards under Richard Rinaolo's leadership, and the enterprise grew to $4 million in revenue by 2001. Richard Rinaolo next lent his knowledge and expertise to Smithfield Companies as its President from 2001 until 2007. With Mr. Rinaolo’s guidance, the firm generated $7 million dollars of revenue by providing residential design services in the Chicago suburbs. From 2005 until 2010, he served as Managing Partner for commercial real estate developer Questar Equity, handling $45 million of real estate property and leasing more than 85,000 square feet of commercial space. Richard Rinaolo also established and organized IT Staff ASAP in Schaumburg, Illinois, acting as President of the web-based technology staffing firm before selling the company in 2010. A member of several professional organizations, Richard Rinaolo belongs to the National Venture Capital Association, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, and the National Association of Homebuilders. He is a member of the University of Chicago Alumni Association, the Lake Forest Open Lands Association, and the Republican National Committee. In his spare time, Richard Rinaolo likes to draw and paint as well as attend performances at the opera and the circus. Mr. Rinaolo also enjoys hunting and is a member of the National Rifle Association. He donates to the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Inc.; the Oriental Institute; the Chicagoland Marine Aquarium Society; the Chicago Botanic Garden; and the Art Institute of Chicago.
