Robert Colaizzi

Longtime Northern California resident Robert Colaizzi believes in giving back in his spare time. He regularly volunteers with the American Cancer Society. In his other leisure pursuits, Robert Colaizzi enjoys Italian sport car racing. A graduate of Santa Clara University, Robert Colaizzi studied Economics and Italian Literature to earn his Bachelor’s degree. He also spent time in Italy at the University of Pisa, where he learned about Italian literature, political science, and European culture. He also returned to school while working at Oracle to obtain a Master of Business Administration in Finance at the College of Notre Dame and graduated with honors. Professionally, Robert Colaizzi has built a career as a proven financial executive. Over the past two decades, he has served numerous organizations that range in size from $2 million to $10 billion in annual revenue. As Vice Presiden tof Finance, he currently leads a team at Talari Networks and enterprise software company.. He oversees a range of operations at the firm, including accounting, finance, operations, financial planning and analysis; information technology; and treasury, tax, and legal matters. Previously, Robert Colaizzi contributed his expertise as a Consultant to an array of clients nationwide. He developed policies and procedures that enabled them to comply with various regulations and standards, including those from the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP). This also included the successful implementation of accounting, finance and operational infrastructure, improved business processes in growth environments and internal controls. Through the years, Colaizzi has served in financial management roles for a range of companies, including Oracle Corporation, PeopleSoft, Nuance Communications, BEA Systems, Postini and as well as Chief Financial Officer at Atlona Technologies.
