Robert Rienecker

An avid student of reformed theology, Robert Rienecker enjoys reading books on the Christian world view, as well as works on Apologetics. He actively incorporates his study of faith into his daily activities and donates his time, money, and efforts to a number of Christian outreach organizations. Robert Rienecker is particularly drawn to the work of Bill Glass and his Prison Ministries. Under the auspices of a program known as Champions for Life, Robert Rienecker conducts seminars for prison inmates on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His volunteer efforts allow him to speak to hundreds of inmates throughout the United States. In explaining why he finds himself drawn to this pursuit, Robert Rienecker points out the demonstrable impact that the ministry has on inmates. According to 40 years of data gathered by Bill Glass Ministries, recidivism among inmates who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior stands at about seven percent. For those who do not, the rate hovers close to 80 percent. The benefits accrue for taxpayers as well, since the average savings for every inmate who remains out of prison amounts to approximately $35,000 a year. In addition to his efforts on behalf of Bill Glass Ministries, Robert Rienecker supports the faith-based organization Compassion International. The organization, founded in 1952, helps to provide food, clothing, shelter, and Christian education to underprivileged children in developing areas. Compassion International paired Robert Rienecker with a young boy named Willison. The two maintain correspondence, with Willison frequently writing to tell his sponsor of his desire to become a pastor and teacher. For Mr. Rienecker, the support he gives to Willison and his family is a blessing he treasures greatly.
