Ron Piperi

Ron Piperi possesses a successful track record as an accomplished lawyer and housing developer. As a legal professional, Ron Piperi has helped clients manage a range of legal issues centering on criminal, family, and personal injury law for over five decades. Formerly the primary attorney for a private practice based in Killeen, Texas, Mr. Piperi accepted numerous capital murder cases and represented only one defendant that received the death penalty, a decision that was later appealed resulting in a significantly reduced sentence. In 1986, he was appointed to a position in Harker Heights, Texas, where he served as City Attorney for more than 20 years. A member of the city's Chamber of Commerce and President of the Killeen Hospital Authority, Mr. Piperi also played a vital role in helping a major area hospital establish an additional facility in Killeen.

An alumnus of St. Mary's University School of Law, Ron Piperi earned a Bachelor of Arts before completing his Juris Doctor. After graduation, Mr. Piperi joined the United States Army and served as an Artillery Officer. As a member of the 1st Armored Division at Fort Hood, Texas, Mr. Piperi also performed various legal duties, including the arrangement of the last wills and testaments for division troops preparing for deployment during the Bay of Pigs Invasion.

Concurrent with his law career, Ron Piperi has also successfully managed a myriad of development projects. Recognized as the first leading student housing developer in Bryan and College Station, Texas, Mr. Piperi has since developed or financed similar projects across the state in Huntsville, Temple, Waco, and San Antonio. His additional ventures include the management of the Mortgage Investment Company, various payroll company affiliates, and Asset Plus, one of the largest property management companies in Houston. Most recently, Mr. Piperi oversaw the development of a premier senior living center in Missouri City, Texas.
