I am a research ethnographer, program developer and evaluator with an academic background bridging the performing arts, humanities and social sciences through story-based research.

With a PhD in anthropology, I've worked for over ten years in university settings with appointments at the University of Virginia, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University and the University of California, Berkeley.

My recent work in applied community development has involved facilitating youth-driven multimedia research with displaced communities of immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I am also a founder learning how to code and a hands-on videographer who can turn most anything into a music video.

I faithfully practice the art of currying serendipity.
