I am a research ethnographer, program developer and evaluator with an academic background bridging the performing arts, humanities and social sciences through story-based research.

With a PhD in anthropology, I've worked for over ten years in university settings with appointments at the University of Virginia, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University and the University of California, Berkeley.

My work in applied community development has involved facilitating youth-driven, multimedia research with recently settled families of immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers.

I am also a founder learning how to code, a talented content strategist, and a hands-on videographer with an uncanny knack for turning just about anything into a music video.

I faithfully practice the art of courting serendipity.
