Some of my strongest skills are connecting with others, collecting ideas, and seeing the big picture while balancing the smaller details. I use these strengths to help balance the many responsibilities that come along with supervising staff. I am able to be focused on the team, challenge others while staying supportive, and stay focused on success and motivation. As a leader and Student Affairs professional I want to help my peers, colleagues, and students to understand their greatest potential and encourage them to continue pursuing their dreams.

I have had the opportunity to work in housing and residence life for the past six years at a variety of institutions. I am a passionate learner and professional. My current aspirations are researching masculinity and deaf student issues within higher education and getting more involved with professional organizations. I strongly believe in giving back to the profession, our students, and the communities I belong to.
