ABOUT US:

SMU Taiko teaches and performs traditional Japanese folk music using taiko drums and related arts. We are composed primarily of Saint Mary's University students as well as alumni and staff members.

We run a beginners' taiko drumming course each fall and we perform throughout the year at SMU and around Halifax.
