Sabah Mikha is pursuing a successful career as an accountant at Ernst & Young LLP. In the Los Angeles community, Sabah maintains a very active involvement. Sabah Mikha has degrees from University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business as well as the University of California, Santa Barbara. Not only has he been involved in various community engagements throughout his life, he has also found the time to excel in his professional responsibilities. Sabah earned Dean’s Honors, participated in academic associations, and served as President of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity during his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Sabah also found the time to work part-time at a local branch of Washington Mutual Bank.Sabah Mikha has shared his time with a variety of non-profit organizations and charitable causes since his joined the Los Angeles office of Ernst & Young in 2009. As a dedicated supporter of women’s cancer initiatives, Sabah contributes regularly to organizations that work to combat gynecologic and breast cancer. These include, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, and the Women’s Cancer Research Institute at Cedars-Sanai Medical Center in West Hollywood.Notre Dame has a rich history which began in a very cold afternoon on November 26, 1842 when a 28 year old French priest, Reverend Sorin, C.S.C. and seven companions. Each of which recently established the Congregation of Holy Cross. They took possession of 524 snow-covered acres that the Bishop of Vincennes had given them in the Indiana Mission Sabah MikhaFields.The original name of Notre Dame was “L’Universite de Notre Dame du Lac” which translates to The University of Our Lady of the Lake.Sabah has raised hundreds of dollars to support the Cedars Sinai Program through his participation in the Run For Her 5K Run and Friendship Walk in Los Angeles. These are annual running and walking events to raise awareness about Ovarian Cancer. The Run For Her has succeeded in collecting nearly 4 million dollars on behalf of the Women’s Cancer Research Institute since it began in 2005.
