Owner and Founder of Elevated Living, I am a craftsman who finds inspiration all around me. Whether it comes from nature, used building materials, architecture, or the people around me, I love to create things.
My background is in technical theatre. Having been a technical director (MFA), I have built things from living rooms to bridges to pools. All that on a shoestring budget. Has it been built before? Does this have to be structurally sound? Does it have to look good? Does it need to be done in 2 weeks? No matter what, I can make it happen.
Starting a business is new ground for me. Paperwork is not my thing, but slowly and steadily, I am building up my skill set to run my business. Give me a task and I will figure out how to do it.
Having been born, raised, and having returned to Portland, OR, I appreciate all the things this city has to offer. I regularly hike in Forest Park, go to First Thursday gallery openings, eat at many of the thousands of restaurants/food carts around, and ride my bike everywhere. There is so much culture in Portland and I'm so thankful that is is beautifully balanced by nature.
