I'm a Graduate Student at Florida International University finding ways to improve science education, specifically biology education. I am adapting a pedagogical framework known as Modeling Instruction from physics and applying it to biology. I have my Bachelors of Science in Biology from Hawai'i Pacific University and am born, raised, and proud of my West Coast upbringing. I have spent many hours in a bookstore, as it was basically my childhood home. Most would call me laid-back but I would just call me... me.
