I am a wife, a mother and a New York native, who grew up in Brooklyn. I always believed in supporting new and trasitioning mothers. After having my first child in 2003 I became totally committed to motherhood. As a breastfeeding mother I also soon realized the importance of great support for breastfeeding moms. It was soon after that I began training and working as a post partum doula. Helping women navigate the waters of mothering a newborn. As result I also teach newborn care classes to expectant families. Since then I offer support to women in labor as well. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor. I give support to breastfeeding moms as well as teach private and group breastfeeding classes to expecting parents.
I have a passion for working with women and children. I am a trained doula with over seven years of experience. In addition I am on staff with the Brooklyn Birthing Center. Where I have attended numerous births.
I live in Brooklyn with my family. I am a proud mother of two beautiful children and enjoy spending time with them any opportunity I get.
