SoLo D

SoLo D

With a blazing hot club single on deck, Miami Rapper/DC resident hustler SoLo D is ready to take the lead with his infectious style of Southern Rap Music. His current single "Double Tap" is a fun and catchy twerk worthy DJ favorite that has anthem potential written all over it. Although the single has his name on the lips of many, it is only a small part of who SoLo D the artist really is. This sentiment was made clear on his sophomore mixtape, The Last of the Real that spawned the music video Bring Da 90’s Back which received 20,000 plus views on WorldStarHipHop.com and over 200,000 YouTube views.

Like any authentically real individual, SoLo D has layers so letting loose and having a good time in his music is just as necessary to him as speaking the truth and sharing exactly what's on his mind. Music became the love of his life at the tender age of 6 and he's kept the fire burning since. Although SoLo D is in essence a solo act, he holds it down as one half of DaOriginal, a duo formed in the year 2000 with his close friend Truthh Talkk in Miami, Florida.

As a performer he has a reputation for giving the audience more than enough energy on stage. As a writer, SoLo D has written songs for artists, churches, nightclubs, non-profit organizations, political campaigns and most notably the Miami Heat and Dolphins sport franchises. This incredibly smart positioning has allowed him to perform various nightclubs, college radio stations, and professional sport stadiums. Formerly the executive producer of an open mic night in Washington, DC, you can currently catch this passionate workaholic on-air every Tuesday as co-host of One Voice One Sound on WLVS Radio (listenvisionlive.com).

SoLo D is definitely on par with his goal of reaching the masses sooner rather than later. When he's not sharing the stage with notable acts such as; Bun B, Kirko Bangz, Meek Mills, Trinidad James, Travis Porter, Kid Ink, Trina or Pastor Troy, you can find him in your city or town promoting and creating alliances to further his G.O.E movement. The music industry has become a DIY business and SoLo D is without doubt prepared and ready to take his career into his own hands.
