Christy Acero

I'm a true Texan born and raised in Dallas, TX. My first love was animals. I owned a dog named Sandy. He was my brother since I was an only child. I now enjoy a dog grooming job at PetSmart, making sure dogs leave my salon with the best coats imagined.

I started getting involved into art at a very young age. The art classroom was my favorite place to be while in school. I guess because it gave me a sense of peace from the horrors of math and history study. I to this day actually enjoy history and I study upon it regularly. Just loving not having to do standard tests on it.

I want to one day, become an animator who can show the world the importance of human life, animal life and the world of nature. I look up to creators such as Miyazaki and Stan Lee. I want to work in a animation studio and draw to my hearts content while still dog grooming on the side.
