For more than three decades, Stanley Niew has practiced law in the Midwestern states of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. The founder of Niew & Associates, P.C., now Niew Legal Partners, P.C., Stanley Niew focuses his practice on employment and labor law. He represents employers and addresses contract and defective construction claims. In addition, his clients include voluntary trade associations’ boards of directors.

Laying the groundwork for a career in the legal system, Stanley Niew earned a Juris Doctor in 1972 from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. His professional work history includes 10 years as a Manufacturing Manager working for a Fortune 100 company. During this time he managed a plant and oversaw more than 200 workers.

In 1980, he opened his law practice, where he engages in collective bargaining with unions that represent laborers, carpenters, painters, Teamsters, and operating engineers. His firm negotiates labor contracts for employee unions with as many as 10,000 members. Stanley Niew maintains memberships in the Illinois State Bar Association, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.

Additionally, he has served as legal counsel for cases tried in Indiana state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Indiana, and the Central District of Wisconsin. A former member of the employment law committee of the Illinois Bar Association, Mr. Niew and Niew Legal Partners maintain offices in Oak Brook, Illinois.
