I'm a writer and a surfer. As you can guess, I enjoy writing about surfing; however, I've never tried writing while surfing. But it's on my to-do list.

I have a perplexing affinity for westerns, graphic novels and bad jokes. Oh, speaking of which, have you heard this particularly funny rib-buster?

What do you call a chicken that crosses the road, rolls around in the mud and crosses back over?

A dirty double-crosser.

Thanks, I'm here all week. OK, funny business aside, let's get to the real business at hand (the reason why you're probably here in the first place):

I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2010, with a degree in humanities.

I have experience with both online and print media, and I've contributed articles to a variety of publications including Surfer, Huck magazine, 805 Living, Our Southbay magazine and Angeleno magazine.

My skills include writing, editing, blogging, HTML, SEO, social media and content management.

Feel free to take a look at my résumé or peruse some of my writing samples.

And with that, I leave you with the dying words of Pancho Villa:

"Don't let it end like this. Tell them I said something."
