As a Family Mediation Council accredited family mediator, a neutral solicitor and a collaborative practitioner, I'm an experienced problem solver, I mostly work with people going through separation and divorce and parents who want to co-ordinate their roles more effectively. I also help families who have later-life concerns relating to their relatives. I work alone as a mediator with people together, and I also support people individually as a solicitor. I don't engage in the court process as there are many others who can do this work. I only use principled techniques to help clients achieve better more family-focused outcomes.

The best people to make decisions about their futures during a separation are the individuals themselves, together with their partners and families. I support and help clients with the mediation and collaboration processes. These help to achieve consensus before there's a chance to be in dispute. Where there is a dispute, they focus on dealing effectively with any conflict, and achieving common ground.

I meet clients at a range of consultation rooms in Ipswich, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester & Chelmsford. I offer some weekend and evening appointments for a modest premium. I also offer a discounted price for meeting clients (where appropriate) at their workplace or home.

I am qualified to directly consult with children and will typically work alongside child specialists, coaches and financial planners to clients achieve the best outcome for them and their families. My experience with working with others in this way is that the combined cost of all the professionals involved is less for than the typical cost of hiring me as a lawyer alone.

As a mediation professional practice consultant I supervise and mentor other mediators. I am also an accredited MIAM provider. I offer a wide range of training workshops and was shortlisted for Family Law ADR Practitioner of the year in 2011 and 2012.
