Stephen Kolodny

Family law expert and high profile attorney Stephen Kolodny serves as a traditional trial lawyer in challenging cases involving high assets, high support, and disputed custody. A Founding Partner of Kolodny & Anteau in Beverly Hills, California, he has garnered a number of accolades. The Los Angeles Bar Association presented Stephen Kolodny with the Spencer Brandeis Award for his contributions to the family law practice. In addition, he received the Silver Shingle for Distinguished Professional Service from Boston University School of Law. A graduate of Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Stephen Kolodny completed his Juris Doctor at the Boston University School of Law. 

Admitted to the California State Bar and the U.S. Federal Courts in 1966, he received admission to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2004. Stephen Kolodny holds certification as a Family Law Specialist with the California Board of Legal Specialization. Active in his peer group, Stephen Kolodny maintains memberships in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. A Founding Diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, he has served as an Adjunct Professor at the American Bar Association Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute of the University of Houston since 1989.
