The restaurant donated 20% of its profit that night to the cause, and the event helped raise awareness for bullying and suicide prevention. A similar event was also held at a Denny’s in Gustine.

In addition to hosting charitable events at Denny’s locations she operates, Ms. Sagar also attends charitable events, including those held by the Sankara Eye Foundation. She also gives money regularly to schools in India.
