As a young child I was encouraged by my mother to design costumes and clothing. Needless to say a love affair with rhinestones, sequins and chiffon blossomed. I was destined to work in fashion. My career started on the editorial floor of the top industry trade newspaper and its high-fashion sister magazine. For over a decade I worked for one of the most recognizable clothing brands in the contemporary women’s market.
