Susan M. Nagy

Washington, DC

Graduated with distinction from McGill Univerity in Montreal with a B.A. in English Literature (1990) and did a post-graduate Certificate in Public Relations Management (1994) at night while working full time as an Executive Secretary and Legal Assistant. Moved to Washington, D.C. in 2001 and gave up my goal of becoming a psychologist (MFT) when faced with the cost of American higher education. Love forces us to make hard choices and reality even harder ones.

In order to gain understanding of Americans and their politics, though I am an independent, I happily volunteered on the Obama campaign in 2008 and coincidentally, have been joyfully unemployed ever since that time, though it is doubted that there is a correlation to those events. I have been trying to find a new path. Still looking. Still writing. Still analyzing. Mostly staying still unless I am at the Washington Sports Club or chasing (or being chased by) feral cats. The background picture was taken by me in Rock Creek Park.

One day, this planet will be more about us and we, than you, yourself, I or me.
