Tanya Glascoe

Tanya Glascoe is a woman of many interests, enjoying hobbies that range from participating in outdoor activities and volunteering to watching car races. Tanya Glascoe inherited the love of stock car racing from her father while viewing the Indiana Motor Speedway and Brickyard 400 races in person as a child. Glascoe's favorite racers are Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Jimmie Johnson. Besides watching motor sports, Tanya Glascoe loves actively spending time outdoors hiking and fly-fishing. Her family takes entire days to locate a good spot filled with trout or salmon by either boating or wading along the shore, and they work to bring home a prize catch. Often she will bring her grill along with cook what her family catches for meals. Glascoe also enjoys hiking since this is a way to experience the weather and outdoor scenery either with other people or by herself. As a nature-lover, she identifies trees and wildflowers during her hikes. Tanya Glascoe also performs volunteer work in her spare time. She assists at animal shelters and has rescued a few mixed-breed dogs herself. On multiple Thanksgivings, she has helped with churches and other charitable organizations to prepare turkey, mashed potatoes, and ham in order to hand out plates of food to people in need. When spending time at home, Glascoe takes pleasure in activities such as baking, grilling, sewing, and decorating her home for the holidays. Eating is a fun way to bring friends and family together, and she appreciates the act of socializing through food. Her holiday specialty is changing a cake mix to create a triple-layer chocolate fudge cake. Immediately after Thanksgiving, Glascoe and her family start decorating for the Christmas holiday, alternating years between a nativity scene and a general Christmas spirit theme with Santa and snowman figures.
