Being the change I wish to see for women and children across the planet.

Not long after I lost my mother to cancer in 2004 I began my campaign to lend a hand up to women and children from war torn/poverty stricken/ 3rd world countries. I come from a long line of powerful and artistically inclined women, from being raised with my beloved Grandmother in the house (born in 1897,she put herself through college and was an art professor before women did such things) to my mother who was literally a "Renaissance Woman" born before her time ( potter extraordinaire,jeweler/metal smith and mother of five) I have always been driven to be independent and self sustaining. It's not always been an easy road, though my path has been far easier than women and children born in cultures where women and children have little say in their future or power over their own lives. I am both thrilled and honored to be in a position to be the change I wish to see for ALL women and children, regardless of borders,cultures or religious beliefs.

Every purchase from my store helps to feed and sustain widowed women and their children in countries such as Tibet/Nepal,India,Afghanistan,Pakistan,Tunisia,Morocco,
Ethiopia,Thailand,Maylasia, and more. This is my way of giving back to the world,raising consciousness in regards to the plight of women in far off lands who face unimaginable circumstances, and introducing you,the buyer to beautiful cultures the world over.
