Terri Lynn Applegate Johnson

A college professor for 32.5 years, I am also a journalist and a public relations professional. I have an undergrad degree from Indiana University, a master's from Ball State University, and am a dissertation short of a Ph.D. from I.U. I have been the editor of the Morgan County (Martinsville, Ind.) Gazette, the public information director of the Indiana State Highway Commission, a speechwriter and assistant press secretary to Governor Otis R. Bowen, M.D. I have taught at Butler University, University of Indianapolis, Indiana University, Ball State University, IUPUI, and Eastern Illinois University. I have been married to John W. Johnson since 1968. I retired from Eastern Illinois University in 2013.
