Timothy Penning, PhD. APR, Fellow PRSA, is a former journalist and public relations practitioner who now teaches public relations as a professor in the School of Communications at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He also continues to offer PR consulting under the name Penning Ink. He is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society. He has self-published three books about public relations--Media Relations Writing, Corporate Communications Writing, and PR Management--all available via PenningInk.com.
