Ty Durekas

An experienced executive with more than two decades of professional experience, Ty Durekas currently is involved in a early childhood education start up in Chicago Illinois. The company provides urban areas with childcare centers as well as preschools. Prior to this, he worked as a managing partner with On Care Services in Los Altos, California. Early in his career Ty Durekas gained considerable executive experience as Chief Executive Officer for Children’s Creative Learning Centers, Inc., in Sunnyvale, California. Subsequently he was an executive at Knowledge Universe in Portland, Oregon and then the Chief Executive Officer at Bright Path in Calgary, Canada. In these positions he worked to shape the company’s overall strategy and executive objectives.

In his spare time, Ty Durekas enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing. In addition, he is an avid music lover and listens to a variety of genres including rock and jazz. Furthermore, he follows his favorite sports teams, including the San Francisco Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
