Here we are in 2024. The last couple of years developed like no other - but thankfully, I'm still here to tell the tale...and what a tale it is! Staying positive, embracing the challenges and seeking out the opportunities (personally & professionally) that these exceptional times are forcing us to. I've got nifty with online tech for a start.

It's hard to believe (mainly due to my youthful outlook on life!), that I have over 20 years experience working in the UK media industry, specialising in broadcast TV, live events, online formats and creative corporate communications. I had a fantastic start in production and my first 14 years were spent at the BBC, shooting in the UK, USA, France and Canada. I've been fortunate to produce, direct and create award winning TV programmes & strands and 2016 saw the prestigious win of a BETT award after the success of reachoutcpd.com - a free and interactive, science based online continuing professional development resource for UK primary teachers.

It's rewarding to make popular, memorable and ground-breaking content & events, but even more fulfilling when you get to lead and mentor creative teams to produce their very best work and deliver great results (even with the odd challenge!) As a TV Talent Manager, I've created brand new recruitment and development programmes for new entrants to the media industry, including Rise at Raw, for RAW TV and now at the formidable MAMA Youth Project. I love discovering, championing and propelling diverse talent to soar in the creative industries.

Bringing my own distinctive and creative flair to comms - has given me opportunity to produce congratulatory, sometimes stark and focus changing messages via, digital, print and live channels to a global workforce. I'm well known for my events management, ranging from co-ordination of a West End film premier, to multiple day senior executive conferences, to university open days and more intimate & private functions - I love it when a plan comes together.

BBC, RAW TV, Barts and The London School of Medicine & Dentistry, Twig Education, Imperial College London, LOCOG/London 2012 and Sony Music & Television Pictures, are just some of the great brands and companies that I've been fortunate to work for or collaborate with.

When I'm not at work, you'll probably find me on a court - a netball or tennis one depending on the time of year!
