I'm a writer, editor, curator, coach and nonprofit leader. I co-founded and lead Mint Artists Guild in Detroit. And I believe in the power and beauty of creativity, community and generosity.

My writing has appeared in the Washington Post, Fortune.com, Kiplinger and Crain's Detroit Business among others. Our Mint youth artists' work has been shown in The Scarab Club, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Detroit Historical Museum, Lansing Art Gallery and more.

In 2022, I'm challenging myself to support 12 new to me nonprofits, one a month. Perhaps this will feed my ongoing #52new experiences initiative.
