Warren Tesoro first learned his craft in the Williamsburg projects in Brooklyn singing with his brother at dances and concerts presented by the community centers with King Curtis' Band backing his group. In high school he met Mickey Zayas who saw him perform at one of these dances and immediately inducted him into the "Larkings" who sang throughout the tri state region. Since then he's been and recorded with: Gary Toms Empire (sold 40,000 copies in the first week), George Grant of the Castelles, the Five Discs. the Dubs, Norman Fox and the Rob Roys, Nicky Addeo & the Night Owls, Vito Balsamo, Willie Winfield, Eddie & the Starlites, Kid Kyle, the Classic Sounds, the Encounters, Brooklyn Connection, recorded with Sammy Turner (Lavender Blue), Joel Katz, Milton Zapata on Speed Records, He's appeared on Saturday Night Live with John Goodman, American Bandstand, Soul Train, the Apollo Theater, the TV show Ebony Affair with the Moments, WABC's Eyewitness News with the Grand Central Echoes and McGhee Hickey the Cliftonaires, The Continentals, Baby Washington, and many others. He's been inducted into the Doo Wop Hall of Fame and performed at Boston Symphony Hall. He's worked at virtually every record store in the New York "I Love being around Records".
