William Byrnes

Experienced finance professional William Byrnes assists Summit Business Media as head of its financial advisory publications. In this role, he has authored many titles in the Tax Facts series, and has contributed to National Underwriters Advanced Markets and the Advanced Markets Journal. Additionally, William Byrnes works as an associate dean at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he facilitates distance learning and graduate education. Over the course of his career, Mr. Byrnes has published hundreds of articles, books, and newsletters on matters ranging from tax policy to the American political process. Recently, he wrote an article titled “FATCA Compliance and Information Sharing in Light of the Final Regulations and New Intergovernmental Agreements” for Mertens Law of Fed Income Taxation: Developments and Highlights. He also composed “FATCA's Double-Edge Application: Reporting of Foreign Holders’ U.S. Accounts” for Offshore Investment Magazine. William Byrnes belongs to the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the American Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association, and the Working Group for Distance Learning in Legal Education.
