I am a professional aquarist and the author at An Auditor and a Gentleman. Whether the subject matter is economics, politics, spirituality, entertainment, pets, or just what makes a good cup of tea, I try to let my passion ring clear through everything I say or write. Having been writing since early on in grade school and continually since then, I like to think there's more behind a statement than the words that make it up.

Before I look for anything else, I look for a mind at work. My goal is not to convert minds but to raise the discourse. In an idea-driven economy, there are few things more powerful than a passionate, intelligent mind.
