Ali Fotovvati was born in 22 April 1983 in Shiraz. He studied Mechanic in ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY of Kashan (2002-2005) and Business Management at ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY of Shiraz (2006-2011), then he became excluded from the higher education for political reasons.
From 2004 to 2006 he worked in ICTRC or “Volunteer Actors” (Capacity Building) as Project Manager, Facilitator and Trainer. He worked also in many organizations and projects such as Millennium Development Project (UNICEF project in Iran) as Facilitator of Workshops (2006), Farpad Society (Cultural NGO) as Board Member and Funder (2003 – 2007), Sarv NGOs House (A place for helping & improving NGOs) as Board Member, Funder & Director (2004 – 2006) and Youth Federation of Cultural Heritage and Tourism (Cultural Federation) as Spokesman (2004 – 2007). From 2009 to 2014 he was working as Senior Member and volunteer in Human Rights Group (Political prisoners’ follow-up committee in Fars Province), from 2009 to 2015, As editor in Peace Line Journal (Electronic Magazine).
He works at Volunteer Activist (used to be called: Arseh Sevom School NGO) as Exclusive Director (from 2011 to current) and editor of the website. Currently he is a board member in Hatef relief organization( from 2012 to now) and the reporter in the news room in the Radio Zamaneh.
