Rute Correia

Broadcaster, music journalist, online communication manager and netaudio activist.

From radio shows to general promotional texts on music, I've been working hard for the past years as an avid online content producer and music journalist. After spending several years on radio stations and one of Portugal's biggest music festivals and concerts promoter, I now devote my entertainment industry quest mostly to video games working for Nintendo of Europe as a Junior Online Content Manager.

Since I always try to balance my professional life with my personal projects, I have not only developed my own portfolio of independent and self-made activities, as I try to keep that as key element of my life. The list includes the only regular Portuguese radio show exclusively dedicated to netaudio and free culture (Programa Marca Branca, 2008-2013), as well the first (and yet only) netaudio/creative commons licensed music dedicated festival in Lisbon (NetaudioLX, 5th/6th/7th January 2012) and some other adventures.

Currently one of the main station-voices of Rádio Meo Sudoeste, I have also voiced several commercial and institutional spots. I am also the European Portuguese voice of Nintendo video game "Mario Party: Island Tour".
