Aalap Shah

An experienced entrepreneur, Aalap Shah is the cofounder of SoMe Digital Media, LLC, a full-service digital marketing firm based in Chicago. The firm helps clients grow website traffic, increase revenue, and create viral marketing campaigns. In service of Fortune 100 and 500 client companies, he and his colleagues utilize expertise in social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter to manage client’s online content and advance their brand strategies. Aalap Shah also manages the firm’s operations and personnel and administrative functions.

In addition to his responsibilities at the firm, Mr. Shah regularly performs pro bono work for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), a global nonprofit that brings real-world entrepreneurial concepts into school classrooms and helps youth start successful businesses. He serves as the lead social media manager for the NFTE in Chicago. As a member of the NFTE Chicago E-Council, he also created a marketing boot camp for NFTE alumni engaged in e-commerce. In addition, Aalap Shah has been asked to speak at institutions such as Northwestern University and Roosevelt University on entrepreneurialism and social media.
