Aaron Shelub MD

Board-certified physician Aaron Shelub, MD, specializes in infectious diseases in California's San Fernando Valley, where he has maintained a private practice since 2008. With offices in Encino, Dr. Shelub provides treatment for individuals who are hospitalized, as well as those who are seriously ill or have sepsis. In addition, Aaron Shelub, MD, cares for patients with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and treats infectious diseases on an outpatient basis. He also remains well known for his expertise in travel medicine, and he heads a clinic that covers vaccinations and post-travel care.

Before he began practicing medicine, Aaron Shelub, MD, completed 14 years of formal education and training, beginning with his time as an undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1998. While there, he demonstrated a talent for his future profession by winning a Special Professor Commendation as the Top Organic Chemistry Student. Dr. Shelub then moved to Israel and enrolled in Tel Aviv University's Sackler Faculty of Medicine. Upon returning to the United States, he began a residency in internal medicine through the University of California, Los Angeles, and St. Mary Medical Center, followed by a two-year infectious diseases fellowship.

Committed to providing his patients with the most effective treatments possible, Aaron Shelub, MD, stays current with developments in his specialty by holding membership with professional organizations, such as the California Medical Association, the Infectious Disease Association of California, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Aaron Shelub, MD, also spent three years as a member of Toastmasters International, and he has delivered dozens of lectures to peers at hospitals throughout Southern California.
