AbdulElah Hider Shyea is a Yemeni journalist and terrorism expert. He has examined the expanding ideology of Usama Bin Laden Orgnazation ( OBL) in an effort to answer the important question on why the West and the United States are losing the war on terror.

Mr Shyea has given presentations on understanding the mind-sets and ideas motivating terrorists. His interviews have been published around the world in Europe, the U.S. and the Arab world including: The New York Time, The Washington Post, ABC News and Al Jazeera.

He has successfully interviewed such as Imam Anwar al-Aulaqi, who had ties to the Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Hassan, as well as the so-called ‘underwear bomber’ of 2009, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutaleb. Imam Anwar was also accused of having links with two of the 9/11 hijackers. Mr Shaea has also interviewed several of the prominent leaders of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), most notably, Nasser Al-Wahishi – the leader and co-founder of AQAP.
