Abina Rotimi has over 9 years of experience in human capital development. Currently, Rotimi is the Training and Development Officer – Anglophone West Africa at AMSCO where they focus on human capital development in the following areas; Training & Development, Recruitment, Interim Management and Development & Advisory Solution. AMSCO implements the ATMS project of the UNDP in Sub-Saharan African Countries, having IFC as the executing agency and AfDB as the regional cooperating agency.

Rotimi holds bachelor degree in Economics with other professional certifications; he is passionate about building human capital through business and entrepreneurship for economic growth and development of Nigeria and Africa at large leveraging on agriculture, especially. He is driven by the potential agriculture holds in ridding Africa of extreme poverty and penury. In commitment to this passion Rotimi founded Abrot Farms in Nigeria; the farm work on rice and cassava value chains through an out-grower scheme and in its pilot phase in Ogun State with the vision to replicate the project in two communities in every States in Nigeria.

Rotimi has experience in the areas of Management, Strategic Development, Research, NGO Management, Business & Entrepreneurship and Training & Development (learning and execution) both locally and internationally. Countries experience include; United Arab Emirate, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Gambia, Uganda, Namibia, Ghana and South Africa.
