ANGELICA CASSIMIRO

is a freelance Dance Artist, Performer, Instructor and Choreographer. She is company member of the Melbourne-based aerial spectacle performance troupe Sway, where she has toured internationally and throughout North America. Angelica has had the opportunity to perform professionally in many acclaimed theaters and performance venues including: New Jersey Performing Arts Center(NJ) where she was awarded the Star Ledger Scholarship, Alvin Ailey CitiGroup Theater (NYC) as a Ailey Fellowship student and as a dancer with BalaSole Dance Company, The Academy of Music, Merriam Theater (Philadelphia), and L'Espace Louis Jouvet de Rethel (France). Angelica has also served as shipwide dance captain and mainstage performer on both of Disney Cruiselines' largest fleets- Dream and Fantasy. She has a BFA in Dance Education from the University of the Arts, a Masters in Education from Brooklyn College and is Member of Actor's Equity Association. When not on tour Angelica continues to teach both adult and children's dance classes and workshops.
