Andrew Harris

I'm an assistant research and evaluation specialist at the Metropolitan Educational Research Consortium (MERC) in the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Education.

My primary professional interest is multilingual education, in particular bilingual/dual-language educational models that help address the needs of multilingual students and families.

I was born in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and raised in a small South Carolina city-cum-suburb. While my current locale is the vibrant and complicated capital city of Richmond, VA, almost any corner of the Southeast feels like home to me.
