Andy Dickinson

Andy helped found KitanoPictures with Wataru Kitano in 2009. Before working at KitanoPictures, Andy worked on many different projects. His first position was as an Associate Producer for the legendary WNBC newsman, Gabe Pressman. At WNBC Andy assisted in the production of the political talk show, NewsForum and on Mr. Pressman's coverage of the 2008 elections. Later, Andy worked as a writer and production assistant for the MTA's Emmy Award winning public affairs program, Transit Transit News. Most recently, he worked as an assistant to NY1's health and fitness reporter, Kafi Drexel. Some of the high profile stories he covered at NY1 included the H1N1 Swine Flu and the NYC Health Department's new anti-smoking campaign. In addition to his responsibilities for KitanoPictures, he also maintains a food blog at http://whatandyate.tumblr.com Andy really enjoys being able to tell stories in a unique way and is open to new opportunities to do so. He cites Edward R. Murrow as one of his role models. In his free time Andy enjoys the arts, cooking and exploring the many different neighborhoods of New York City.
