Adam Laupus

I am an actor, writer and producer. I love to make stuff, like films and video projects. But mostly I love seeing stories and ideas come to life.

Currently in Los Angeles by way of Brooklyn. I also have a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Training is important but creating work is much more vital.

I want to work with passionate, creative folks as much as I can. I was a part of Fresh Meat, a NY Sketch group that toured Fringe Festivals across the U.S.A and Canada. I directed and co-produced the first run of MuscleBound, a one-man show about male body issues created by Michael Feldman, that has performed at over 100 universities and colleges. I was even a member of the Brooklyn Soundpainting Company, a theatre company that creates new work using gesture-based improvisation. I also created an experimental film for BSC incorporating the technique with a purposefully banal scene and capture the visual results.

Some of my current producer work below:

I was also the lead actor in A DECENT ARRANGEMENT, directed by Sarovar Banka and starring Shabana Azmi. It has screened in festivals across the world in such cities as Montreal, Mumbai and New York. I've also performed in theatre, fim and television (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Kings) in New York.
