Addison Kavish

San Francisco

Addison Kavish began his editing career by cutting weird and surreal "art films" in his sophomore year of high school. He has been editing ever since, with over 10 years of experience (and counting) under his belt.

Addison has cut projects in almost every genre: from corporate videos, short films, and documentaries, to quirky stop-motion animation and surrealistic indie films (he still hasn't been able to get them out of his system yet).

His past clients include Cisco Systems, Inc., Shafer Vineyards, and The Culinary Institute of America. In 2012 he assistant edited for Prep School, an indie feature produced in San Francisco, written and directed by SFSU alumni Sean Lynch. This year he will be the consulting editor for Transfusion, a taco truck doc by Robert Lemon.

Currently he is the director and editor of the show Dads That Cook, premiering on PBS for the 2014 season, and does freelance video production and post-production for local Bay Area businesses.
