Adela Urcan began her violin lessons at the age of ten, within a year performing in her first concert, to great acclaim.
Adela is constantly performing both as a chamber musician and a soloist. She has performed in the best and most well- known venues around Europe, such as: Victoria Hall (Geneve), Paul Klee Centrum(Bern), Auditorium National (Madrid), KKL(Luzern), Royal Court(Monaco), Laeitzhalle(Hamburg), Estoril(Portugal), Menuhin Festival(Gstaad), Paleo Festival(Nyon), Gdansk, Poland - Solidarity of Arts Festival, Italy -Montepulciano -Incontri in Terra di Siena,Romanian Atheneum(Bucharest)as well as in various venues across Romania.

She is currently a member of the philharmonic orchestra of Monte Carlo.

After finishing her studies in Romania at the Music University of Transilvania, Adela decides to move to Hamburg, where she enrolles at the University for Music and Drama as a top contender being offered a full scholarship to study with violinist soloist, Tanja Becker - Bender.
After finishing her Master Diploma with highest marks, Adela continues her studies at the prestigious Menuhin Academy studying with Maxim Vengerov.

Adela is a celebrated violinist and a winner of various awards, scholarships and prizes like: National Olymphics for Music and Coregraphy, Romania,Timotei Popovici International Competition(Sibiu, Romania), Alfred Teopfer Prize(Hamburg, Germany), Oscar und Vera Ritter Foundation, DAAD and Rottary Club grant, Yehudi Menuhin - "Live Music Now"

She has participated in numerous masterclasses, working with: David Grimal, Cristoph Schickedanz, Alexander Sitkovetsky, Boris Garlitsky, Pattrick Rafferty, Ilarion Ionescu -Galati, Bogdan Zvoristeanu, Liviu Prunaru, Oleg Kaskiv, Ani Kavafian.
