I started my career in communications about twelve years ago as a production assistant at KOB TV 4, a news station in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since then I have worked with a wide range of companies and organizations from around the world to help them effectively communicate their key messages to a specific target audience. Although successful as a PR and marketing professional, now I am looking to work on my greatest passion: wellness travel. My goal is to leverage my strong communications and relationship-building skills to transition from the public relations and marketing industry to the wellness travel/health industry.

To prepare for the transition I started a blog (adrivo:the travel session) on travel and wellness, and a Google Plus community for people to share how a certain travel experience helped them through a tough time in life. I also personally incorporate wellness in my travels by looking for activities that will improve the well-being of my mind, body, and spirit.
