Adrian Quesada Rodriguez

Adrián Quesada Rodríguez is a lawyer and mediator specialized in emerging technologies.
Based in Geneva, he serves as Senior Manager and Lead Researcher on ICT law at Mandat International and UDG Alliance, where he leads compliance for multiple international projects on data protection, cybersecurity, and digital health. He is also an Associate Rapporteur on Emerging Digital Technologies at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and a board member of the European Centre for Certification and Privacy, where he co-authored the Europrivacy GDPR certification criteria (officially recognized by EDPB as an EU Data Protection Seal) and actively contributes to the development of associated criteria for AI Act regulatory compliance certification.
Holder of both an M.Sc. in Telecommunications Economics and an M.A. in International Law, he is currently a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering and is the recipient of multiple professional certifications of relevance (e.g., IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, Fellow of Information Privacy).
This has enabled him to co-edit the Springer Handbook on IoT and has led him to teach several specialized graduate courses bridging technology, standardization, ethics, and policy at varius international universities.
