Alea Fairchild

Dr. Alea Fairchild is passionate about commercial marketing and innovation, and as an entrepreneur, has started several companies of her own. She loves working with start-ups and actively supports VCs in due diligence work. She also assist governmental institutions on technology policy issues.

She is also passionate about Masters Weightlifting, as she is an international olympic weightlifter for Belgium at the Masters level. (World Silver medal in 2006, 2007 and 2008 in the class W40 -69kg, 2009 and 2010 in the class W45 -69kg.) Picture is from her Silver medal performance at the European Masters 2010 (W45, -69kg), with a barbell loaded with 64kg / 141 lbs. At the tender age of almost 55, she still trains and competes at the international level. Passion has no age!

Dr. Alea Fairchild is a Research Fellow at The Constantia Institute, which is a Brussels-based technology policy think-tank, focusing on innovation and technological advances and their impact on industry and society. She is always open to new opportunities, so please get in touch!
