Alastair Goldfisher

I'm a 6-foot-1-inch Californian. I'm vegan, but have never surfed. I was born in the Los Angeles area, but have lived in Northern California for about 30 years.

I've worked as a business reporter and an editor since 1994, when I began covering Silicon Valley business, tech and marketing communities for the San Jose Business Journal.

I was most recently Venture Capital Editor at PEI, heading up the VC Journal, a magazine and website focused on the venture community.
