AHME ART...I paint because it is my blessing and I can't turn away from such a wonderful gift. In my art I express visions of places. I started painting while visiting a good friend in Belize . Her Jamaican caretaker belonged to a collective of self taught artist. Through the passion I learned to paint. I developed my art living in the middle of a Mayan rainforest I then did a year of art at LATTC. My Belizean art teachers told me paint everyday for 5 years I would be a painter. I painted everyday for 5. Influenced by my cousin Africans living just down the road in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. "Thats where I want to be".
