Ai Zhang

Hello! Hope you are having a fabulous day! I am an associate professor of Public Relations at Stockton University in New Jersey. I received my Ph.D. in public relations from the University of Maryland in 2009. My research focuses on public relations education including experiential learning, service learning, and social media. I am passionate about learning new tools, technologies, and all sorts of apps. I am constantly exploring them to improve my teaching. My goal as an educator is to do all that I could to make students' undergraduate PR education more relevant to the needs of the ever-changing PR industry.

I am also the faculty adviser of Stockton's PRSSA Chapter as well as its newly launched student-run PR firm, Stock PRo. I love coaching my PRSSA students and witnessing their academic and professional growth as a result of their active involvement in the chapters and the firm! I won the Advisor of the Year Award in 2014 as a result of my dedication to the Chapter and leadership excellence.

I am a mother of two boys and a big believer in attachment parenting philosophy. I love spending time with them and being silly with them. They are the love of my life and the reasons that I work hard everyday!

I am a hard-core vegan! Love exploring vegan recipes! A fun fact about me: I can eat a whole watermelon a day easily!
