Aisha Bowe is a researcher in the Flight Trajectory Dynamics & Controls Branch of the Aviation Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center. In this capacity she works in the area of air traffic management to make safer, cheaper, and more efficient air travel a reality.

When she's not working to advance the state of the U.S air traffic management system Aisha pursues her entreprenurial interests as founder of Schmoooz, a social networking application and Candied Violet an online jewlery store.

Ms. Bowe is passionate about her work and active in the community. She is a recipient of NASA's Honor Award for Equal Employment Opportunity, Spotlight Award for Equal Opportunity and Diversity Excellence, the National Society of Black Engineers 21st Century Trailblazers in Aviation and Aerodynamics Award, and the NSBE Outstanding Technical Contribution Award. Her activities have also been featured on NASA NOW, Bahamas Weekly and Telemundo.
