Mootry is the Founder and Chief Marketer at Savvy Pro Marketing, Inc., a marketing consulting firm. She is a Chicago native and accomplished advertising professional with 10+ years experience. Her love for the business is such that she chose to split her advertising career between agency life and media sales. As a seasoned media supervisor with Starcom MediaVest Group, Mootry led strategic thinking on a variety of accounts including Procter and Gamble. Mootry also contributed invaluable insights to the Walmart new business pitch— a win worth $500 million to the agency!
Mootry continued to expand her knowledge selling national digital and video solutions on the publisher side where she was regarded as a “rock star” seller! A consultative and client centric approach to advertising led to long-standing client relationships and multiple promotions. Additionally, Mootry earned the esteemed President's Club honor (2013) and continued to grow revenue +41% YOY. Traveling across the Midwest and Southeast regions to conduct business for the company, Mootry brought in 30 new advertisers.
Aisha Mootry is a nationally recognized media professional with a network reaching both U.S. coasts. Taking note of Mootry's leadership skills Senior management nominated her to sit on steering committees and participate in leadership programs, like Radio One’s #LeadersInQueue (2017).
She Runs It formerly Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) honored her as one of Advertising’s Working Mothers of the Year (2009). The organization recognizes women with a knack for truly striking that balance between motherhood and career woman. Mootry was featured for her work in national publications like: Black Enterprise (2006), The IMC Review (2008) and Working Mother Magazine (2009).
Entrepreneurship allows her to truly thrive, immerse in new technology and leverage all her experiences to chauffeur established brands to the next level.
